Ira Chernova was born and raised in Moscow. She fell in love with photography at an early age, but it was her modeling career that eventually brought her to New York. She has since transitioned from the beautiful face in front of the camera, to the discerning eye behind it.
In the history of RANK!, there were a handful of local establishments that came to be intimately associated with the magazine (e.g., The Porch, The Ocho, Factory Factotum).
