Steele Justiss was a Santa Fe–based artist. He spent his formative years in Los Angeles, before venturing out into the high desert, where he continued to experiment with paint and form to create some truly stunning pieces.
This was a pivotal issue in the history of the magazine. It concluded the serialization of my novel Receiver of Wreck, which had been the primary catalyst for the creation of the magazine to begin with.
